Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering with specialization in Process Design and Intensification is a specialization in Chemical Engineering to be launched in 2021, which deals with process designing as well as its intensification. Process design is the backbone of any chemical process industry, be it paints and polymers or pharmaceuticals and specialty chemicals. The designing of equipment, their placement in a process, designing and developing the flowsheets and finally improving the design to reduce operation cost and improve efficiency (intensification) becomes the base of any chemical process. The students will get a hands-on training and expertise in courses like Process Design, Process flow-sheeting, Process intensification, Chemical Engineering safety along with all basic chemical engineering courses. They will also be trained in software like ASPEN, MATLAB, PROSIM etc. which will allow the students to be industry ready.

PhD in Mathematics is the highest academic degree awarded in the study of Mathematics.

This course deals with the inter-combination of statistics and computer science with an aim to extract patterns of information from given raw data (unprocessed data) and transform the data to provide meaningful information for business use. It covers the concepts of machine learning used as data mining techniques and touches upon the differences between data science and data mining. Students will be able to use the different data mining techniques such as association, clustering, and use different data mining applications such as market basket analysis and customer relationship management.

The course allows students to understand the implementation of governmental policy that serves the population, the workings of political activity, and the process of developing public programs for the society. Computational material science involves exploration of material structure, properties and behaviour using modelling, simulation, theory or statistics. It is a wide field that encompasses computational techniques that can simulate electronic structure of materials, explore materials at different length scales: nano, micro, meso and macro scales, predict the structure based on thermodynamic stability and accelerate discovery of novel materials with desired properties. A student opting for this specialisation will get exposed to these techniques and will gain an in-depth expertise on any one technique through the dedicated project work.

This B.Tech. program explores the various ways through which the concepts of engineering can be applied to prevent fire. It educates students with the science of designing buildings that promotes fire safety and property protection. Conserving natural resources and protecting the environment are at the forefront of this specialization.

Students in this specialisation learn the essential computer science concepts such as data structures, algorithms, OOPS concepts using Java, databases and software engineering and design processes, but also concepts such as Big Data related concepts such as functional programming using python, distributed computing, data ingestion tools, NoSQL database, and other technologies to build big data pipeline.

The specialization in marketing prepares the students on subjects like Social and Digital Media Marketing, Advertising and Sales Promotion etc. The emphasis is on developing critical as well as analytical thinking in the specialized area though case study, projects, workshops, masterclasses by industry experts, among other pedagogical tools. ?
