Smart grid and computing represent a new generation of hardware, software and network that connect physical infrastructure with analytic computing systems. Smart grid is the emerging energy system wherein the application of information technology, tools and techniques make the grid run more efficiently. Frequently occurring high impact low probability natural disaster and cyber-attack creates the need for future-ready resilient smart grid. The challenges and opportunities of emerging and future smart grids can be addressed by computing techniques. The objective of this minor specialisation is to provide different computing applications for energy management in the smart grid architecture and science of resilient smart grid against natural disaster and cyber-attacks.

PhD Energy Management is the highest academic degree awarded in the study of Energy Management.

This course explores in detail the types of rules, policies, and controls put in place to determine the behaviour of a corporation, and the intended outcome of those measures. Taking a practical look at how to identify, set, and uphold a corporate governance means that the students will be able to enrich their understanding and skillset in this area, with the support of experienced practitioners who can demonstrate real-life examples to contextualize what one learns.

In this specialisation, students learn about essential concepts such as data structures, algorithms, OOPS concepts using Java, databases, software engineering and design processes. Students will also obtain an in-depth knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence by implementing real-world problems in a wide variety of application domains such as robotics, computer vision, natural language processing, etc. Students will be experienced in machine learning pipeline, data, models, algorithms and empirics.

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.

The course trains students to assist clients in setting up and managing their businesses across India. Aerodynamics is the science of moving air and its impact on solid bodies placed in the flow field as an obstacle. Being a sub-field, most of the equations from fluid dynamics apply to aerodynamics as well, including all the governing equations, turbulence, boundary layer theory, and ideal gas assumption. Racing cars and wind turbines are examples of technologies outside of aerospace in which aerodynamics engineering play a prominent part. Aerodynamic engineering often uses a mix of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), wind tunnel work and ultimately flight-testing to achieve a solution. CFD is widely accepted as a key tool for aerodynamic design. Reynolds Average Navier-Stokes (RANS) solutions are a common tool, and methodologies like Large Eddy Simulation (LES) that were once confined to simple canonical flows (isotropic turbulence in a box, channel flow), are moving to complex engineering applications.

The subjects covered under arts include Sociology, History, Political Science in correlation with legal subjects of Criminal Law, Civil Law, Administrative Law, Constitutional Law and Labour Laws under the proficient guidance of highly qualified faculty members.

This specialised undergraduate program deals with the business, policy governance, regulatory, and legal aspects of various non-renewable/fossil fuels and renewable energy sources. The course covers the business cycle operations, regulatory policies, governance mechanism and all-round legal perspectives in the entire energy basket market including commercial, taxation, and environmental governance aspects.

Clinical Research enables health care professionals to develop new therapies and diagnostic procedures and medical devices to ensure better patient care. M.Sc. in Clinical Research is a 2-year postgraduate course aimed at providing experiential learning with comprehensive curriculum.

The Clinical Pharmacokinetics specialization encourages students to explore the key principles of pharmacokinetics (PK) including factors that affect the absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and binding of drugs and integrate these principles into the process of monitoring, evaluating and adjusting dosing for patients. It provides students with the ability to interpret drug concentration measurements in the context of the therapeutic window, along with the derivation of dosage adjustments to maintain therapeutic concentrations. Upon completion of the course, the student will contribute at planning, design and analysis of clinical studies from pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic (PD) perspective. They will apply this information in the clinical drug development process. It will also provide hands on experience with pharmacokinetic data analysis, advanced PK/PD modeling research with emphasis on disease progression modeling and implementation of mechanism-based approaches.
