In this specialisation, students learn about essential concepts such as data structures, algorithms, OOPS concepts using Java, databases, software engineering and design processes. UPES School of Design’s Under Graduate Programme, B.Des. in Fashion Design introduces students to a combination of traditional craft techniques with digital technologies to transform concepts from two-dimensional fabrics into three-dimensional forms. The programme covers all aspects of the design process, from trend analysis, research and design development, drawing and illustration, colour and fabric development, historical and cultural studies, translation of ideas from 2D to 3D through to presentation, marketing and business development.

This course deals with the inter-combination of statistics and computer science with an aim to extract patterns of information from given raw data (unprocessed data) and transform the data to provide meaningful information for business use. It covers the concepts of machine learning used as data mining techniques and touches upon the differences between data science and data mining. Students will be able to use the different data mining techniques such as association, clustering, and use different data mining applications such as market basket analysis and customer relationship management.

Master of Technology in Chemical Engineering with Specialization In Process Design Engineering is an industry-oriented program training the students in chemical process development and designing. The students as part of the curriculum go for one year of Industrial project where they receive immense industrial experience. We also have a MoU with Grasim Industries - Aditya Birla Ltd., for the M. Tech Industrial project/ internship program.

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.

This is a 5-year integrated law degree program – the first two years of the program focus primarily on arts and the last three on law subjects. The program prepares students for both national as well as international criminal justice systems. It has both classroom teaching as well as practical components like moot courts, law internships, workshops, guest lectures, national and international academic events, legal debates, and interaction with legal luminaries.
