UPES School of Design’s Post Graduate Programme, M.Des. in Product Design curriculum is designed in a way that gradually increases in complexity levels and covers broad areas that product designers will come across in their professional careers. Automotive design is a distinctive field that encompasses engineering, creativity, business acumen and safety. An automotive designer is not bounded by automobiles only, they can be a designer for any form of wheeled transportation. This course includes a wide assortment of topics on the related aspects of the transportation sector, energy, and environmental concerns, application of fossil and alternative fuels and development of vehicles of the future. Automotive design engineering is a combination of art and science; a strong aesthetic sense is needed, as well as a solid grounding in the engineering and materials involved in building cars and their component parts.  Our program offers something unique wherein, we teach our students to be prepared for their professional career and also be life-long learners. We offer them courses not only for core subjects but also subjects which will ensure they have wholesome development and achieve their full potential.

The specialization acquaints the students on subjects like Rural Marketing, Social and Digital Media Marketing. The course equips the students on traditional as well as modern approaches to the world of marketing, which will support them in solving real-life marketing-related problems.

M.Sc is a two-year postgraduate program in Pharmacology and Toxicology that provides broad, multidisciplinary training that enables our students to pursue careers in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries as well as in academic and government research laboratories. The program offers the following specializations:

• Applied Clinical Pharmacology
• Molecular and Biochemical Toxicology

Mainframe Program is a hub of domains such as Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Open Source, Banking, Insurance, Data Analytics and many more so it opens the door for numerous opportunities. B.Tech.(CSE) with specialization in Mainframe Technology program offers industrial exposure with hands-on training at mainframe.

The specialisation acquaints the students on subjects such as Manufacturing Operations for Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Lean Manufacturing et al. The program equips them to understand how an organization achieves high levels of efficiency in converting material and labour into goods and services and create linkages on their distribution.

Brands are understanding the importance of content and its role in driving organic traffic. The course focusses on improving a business’ website by increasing the organic traffic to attract more customers. The student is one step closer to becoming a complete digital marketer with expertise in search engine optimization.

Integrated (B.Des) - (M.Des) - (Interaction Design) in Interaction Design trains students to research, analyze, prototype, and design concepts in business, social, and cultural contexts within existing and emerging technologies. Students will gain proficiency in creating engaging user interfaces, ranging from 2D screen (UI for web and mobile) to 3D (AR/VR and will be able to conceptualize user experiences around new and emerging technology, and design to make interfaces more usable, useful and pleasant.

Traditional media platforms like newspapers, TV & radio networks are all transforming into converged digital platforms which means that media professionals today need new age digital skills for producing, distributing & monetising content.

This cutting-edge degree program is designed to equip students for this growing demand in the Indian & global media industries. It takes a digital- first approach focusing on the transformative role of technology in journalism & communications. It focuses on New-Age growth areas in media such as social media, mobile journalism, data visualisation & Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This degree program trains students as digital storytellers, provides hands on training on state-of-the-art infrastructure and imparts cross-cutting communication skills  which are in demand in the media sector,corporates, public policy institutions and startups.

This specialization equips students with a strategic 360 degree corporate communication toolset for effective marketing communication in the corporate and development sectors. Students doing this course will be trained to manage digital marketing and campaigns for both corporations & public policy institutions. Students interested in managing brand products, working in the marketing space globally, using development communication in the social sector or entering strategic communications professionally or particularly suited for this course. In this specialisation, students learn about essential concepts such as data structures, algorithms, OOPS concepts using Java, databases, software engineering and design processes. Students will also obtain an in-depth knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence by implementing relevant real-world problems in a wide variety of application domains such as robotics, computer vision, natural language processing, etc. Students will be experienced in machine learning pipeline, data, models, algorithms, and empirics.
