The course is a concoction of the study of commerce and law. By completing this integrated course, a student can learn about two different professional fields. The specialised law course, in its five-years duration, equips the students with the knowledge of both commerce and legislative regulations as a comprehensive concept.

Medical law is the branch of law, which concerns the prerogatives and responsibilities of medical professionals and the rights of the patient. It is not the same as medical jurisprudence, which is a branch of medicine, rather than a branch of law.

This course has been designed to include all fundamental and advanced concepts of health and medical law at the national and global level to make learners well-versed with the developments in medical field, health sector, and their legal aspects.

UPES School of Design’s Under Graduate Programme, B.Des. in Product Design lays emphasis on a process-centric approach of participation and teamwork to shape the students’ education. This program specialization encourages students to explore the key principles of pharmacokinetics (PK) including factors that affect the absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and binding of drugs and integrate these principles into the process of monitoring, evaluating and adjusting dosing for patients. It provides students with the ability to interpret drug concentration measurements in the context of the therapeutic window, along with the derivation of dosage adjustments to maintain therapeutic concentrations. Upon completion of the course, the student will contribute at planning, design and analysis of clinical studies from pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic (PD) perspective. They will apply this information in the clinical drug development process. It will also provide hands on experience with pharmacokinetic data analysis, advanced PK/PD modeling research with emphasis on disease progression modeling and implementation of mechanism-based approaches.

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.
