Environmental geochemistry is concerned with the sources, distribution and interactions of chemical elements in rocks, soils, waters, air and biological material. Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.

The specialisation educates students in regulating and resolving disputes relating to both individual labour laws i.e. the employees’ rights at work and the employment standards as well as the tripartite labour laws i.e. the relationship between the employer, employee, and the union. UPES provides students with an opportunity to complete two seminar papers and a dissertation exclusively in labour laws under the mentorship of the faculty and an industry-based professional.

Digital Audio is growing significantly in India as the next big digital platform. To cater to the growing demand in new radio formats, this specialization is designed to equip students to be Digital Content Creators with highly advanced skills for Radio & Audio Production. Students interested in either producing or editing podcasts, learning storytelling for the audio medium or understanding post-production process for an audio product are fit for this course. The broad themes explored in this course include: Digital Audio Storyboarding, Sound Design & Mixing, Audio & Podcast Production, Post Production, Distribution & Monetisation.

This course deals with the inter-combination of statistics and computer science with an aim to extract patterns of information from given raw data (unprocessed data) and transform the data to provide meaningful information for business use. It covers the concepts of machine learning used as data mining techniques and touches upon the differences between data science and data mining. Students will be able to use the different data mining techniques such as association, clustering, and use different data mining applications such as market basket analysis and customer relationship management.

UPES School of Design’s Under Graduate Programme, B.Des. in Animation and VFX prepares students with a strong grounding in design, video and audio skills, alongside modeling, rigging, texturing, lighting, digital cinematography, digital color grading, and 3D digital graphics. The course modules also cover motion graphics and virtual studio skills, alongside compositing, 3D tracking, particles, and dynamics.
