B.Tech ECE with VLSI & Embedded system is a 4 year program offered at Uttaranchal University aims to provide the knowledge and skills in VLSI design methodology and embedded system. The curriculum covers algorithms, System Architecture Verification Techniques, Component requirement for Hardware Model, substantial Designs, and Synthesis & Simulation for VLSI system. The programme also covers thrust areas like Real Time application of VLSI & Embedded Systems, Advanced Microcontrollers, Advanced Embedded System Design, and System on Chip. Apart from the curriculum, the teaching pedagogical activities include industrial visits, seminars, practice on various simulation tools like, workshops on new technologies, and guest lecturers.

M.Sc. Botany programme curriculum is balanced between classical concepts of Botany and recent technological advancements in field of plant science. Curriculum is enriched with courses having specific focus on enhancement of communication and presentation skills, development of scientific temperament and research aptitude. Biotechnology is a 3-year program with an enriched curriculum comprising of basic courses (cell biology, biochemistry, animal and plant physiology, developmental biology) and applied courses (plant and animal biotechnology, bioinformatics, bioprocess technology and others). Specific courses target skill development, employability and entrepreneurship potential of biotechnology.

B.Tech CSE with specialization in Data Science is a 4 years (or 8 semesters) undergraduate program that focuses on using various scientific methods and methodologies to extract important data from raw data. The curriculum provides students with the opportunity to study strategies and abilities, such as, data extraction, methodology analysis, and so on.

Data science is an important aspect of the IT business; it is used to manage datasets and extract useful information. Students at Uttaranchal University have numerous opportunities to develop skills in querying, mining, cleansing, inspecting, and analyzing databases.

The field of psychology is quite vast and it covers clinical psychology, counselling, General psychology, Business psychology, Forensic Psychology, International psychology, Educational Psychology and so on. M.Sc. Chemistry is a two years post graduate program. The masters program offers in depth knowledge of courses like, Analytical Chemistry, Environment and Green Chemistry, Photochemistry and Pericyclic reactions and Nanotechnology.

B.A. (Hons.) English with research is an undergraduate programme in English Literature. The programme teaches about English Language and Literature and the way it has developed into its modern form along with highlighting varied aspects of English society through its genres like Drama, Poetry, Novel, etc.

The Programme is intended for the students who have a strong interest in English Language and Literature and who show promise in the study of either or both. Students with research inclination receive an intensive educational experience with respect to the courses offered. The student learns to critically analyze and debate on a variety of texts, and acquires knowledge of literary movements, periods and critical approaches. The student develops comprehensive written and spoken communication skills, becoming adept at arguing a point, framing a narrative and analyzing various levels of meaning.
