B.Tech in Electronics & Communication engineering with IoT is a 4 years full time programme which gives the detailed idea and understanding of the IoT architecture and its applications in various fields. Environmental Science is a 2-year full-time PG course which includes courses of ecology, environment and green chemistry, energy and environment, natural resource management, environment nanotechnology, water and waste water management, and environment and health which are designed with the aim of fulfilling the demands of trained human resource in this field. This program will prepare individual for understanding environmental issues and find sustainable solution for it.

B.Tech ECE with VLSI & Embedded system is a 4 year program offered at Uttaranchal University aims to provide the knowledge and skills in VLSI design methodology and embedded system. The curriculum covers algorithms, System Architecture Verification Techniques, Component requirement for Hardware Model, substantial Designs, and Synthesis & Simulation for VLSI system. The programme also covers thrust areas like Real Time application of VLSI & Embedded Systems, Advanced Microcontrollers, Advanced Embedded System Design, and System on Chip. Apart from the curriculum, the teaching pedagogical activities include industrial visits, seminars, practice on various simulation tools like, workshops on new technologies, and guest lecturers.

The curriculum of forensic science is a blend of interdisciplinary fields including biology, chemistry, physics, microbiology, entomology, anthropology, drug chemistry, ballistics. The curriculum is enriched to provide conceptual knowledge along with sound technical skills and laboratory expertise. 

M.Sc. Biotechnology is a two year program spread into four semesters. The curriculum comprises of comprise core courses, open elective and discipline specific electives. Core courses provide conceptual knowledge and experimental learning pertaining to basic and applied field of biotechnology through different teaching learning methods. Open electives target skill enhancement and discipline elective courses are specifically designed to provide skills pertaining to application of biotechnological tools and techniques in various fields including industry, agriculture, environment, health and others. Industrial visits, participation in seminar/conference, training programs impart additional technical skills. A crucial component of fourth semester is dissertation; each student is allotted a supervisor to conduct research in the field of interest of the student. The objective of dissertation is to impart skill to design and develop protocols, conduct experiment, interpret data and comprehend scientific writing skills.
