Environmental science is an interdisciplinary academic field related to advanced study about environment and ecosystem. It also deals with the solution of environmental problems which is the need of the hour. Apart from the study of biological and physical characters of the environment, it also includes the social and cultural factors and impact of humans on the environment.

M.Sc. Environmental Science is a 2-year full-time PG course which includes courses of ecology, environment and green chemistry, energy and environment, natural resource management, environment nanotechnology, water and waste water management, and environment and health which are designed with the aim of fulfilling the demands of trained human resource in this field. This program will prepare individual for understanding environmental issues and find sustainable solution for it.

B.A. (Hons.) English with research is an undergraduate programme in English Literature. The programme teaches about English Language and Literature and the way it has developed into its modern form along with highlighting varied aspects of English society through its genres like Drama, Poetry, Novel, etc.

The Programme is intended for the students who have a strong interest in English Language and Literature and who show promise in the study of either or both. Students with research inclination receive an intensive educational experience with respect to the courses offered. The student learns to critically analyze and debate on a variety of texts, and acquires knowledge of literary movements, periods and critical approaches. B.Tech ECE with VLSI & Embedded system is a 4 year program offered at Uttaranchal University aims to provide the knowledge and skills in VLSI design methodology and embedded system. The curriculum covers algorithms, System Architecture Verification Techniques, Component requirement for Hardware Model, substantial Designs, and Synthesis & Simulation for VLSI system. The programme also covers thrust areas like Real Time application of VLSI & Embedded Systems, Advanced Microcontrollers, Advanced Embedded System Design, and System on Chip. BBA program gives the students strategic outlook on problems of business organization, management & solutions to them. The BBA program seeks to provide to the management trainees the understanding of the theory, practice of management and the required knowledge and skills to succeed in the business world. The degree programme is intended for those who wish to acquire business and managerial knowledge and skills. The curriculum provides the students with a strategic perspective on contemporary issues in management. Program provides all of the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the tech business. The program focuses on both practical and theoretical computer hardware and software skills. It emphasizes the fundamentals of computer programming and networking while covering a wide range of subjects.

B.Tech CSE with specialization in Cloud Computing is a 4-year specialised undergraduate program that focuses on comprehensive knowledge of data storage, cloud security and network. Cloud Computing enables computing services for accessing resources over the internet on demand as and when required and then paying accordingly. Program also offers in depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, multitenant technology, virtualization and various cloud delivery models.

BBA – Tourism and Event Management is 3 years (6 semesters) undergraduate program to instil solid foundation of business skills with specialized training and hands on experience in the field of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Events management, Consumer behaviour, Recreation and so on.

The programme on M.Sc. Zoology beside providing conceptual and practical knowledge related to basic and applied field of zoology also aims to provide skills related to advanced analytical techniques utilized in zoological studies with an objective to impart research aptitude among students.
