BSc Nursing is a four-year undergraduate programme offered by Uttaranchal University to prepare students to assume responsibilities as competent nurses in providing promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services. The programme enables the students to apply knowledge from physical, biological, and behavioural sciences in providing nursing care to individuals, families and communities. We offer broad based nursing education within an academic framework specifically directed to the development of critical thinking skills, competencies & standards required for practice of professional nursing and midwifery.

M Tech Computer Science is a 2 year masters degree program that provides the student the ability to understand advanced principles of Computer Science and Engineering to solve problems and to continuously learn multidisciplinary concepts through MTech CSE Syllabus. The first two semesters include courses that cover the advanced topics of CSE. The later semesters involve studying the elective courses within domain or outside domain as open electives. Some courses covered are Distributed Systems, Advanced Computer Networks, Advanced Software Engineering, Algorithms etc.

MBA is known as a Career Accelerator since it allows MBA graduates to command greater incomes and one can broaden his/her business knowledge and technical abilities by exploring various business opportunities. Masters of Business Administration (MBA) – Information Technology has become a popular specialisation among students interested in working in the fast growing internet-based enterprises, such as, e-commerce platforms and technology-based businesses. Entrepreneurs and company executives will have a full understanding of human resource management, e-commerce, and business-related security risks as a result of this curriculum. In view of that Uttaranchal University offers specialized post graduate program in the field of Information Technology to students enrolled in post graduate MBA program to impart knowledge and skills in the field of information technology.

B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering program offers some of the important courses in the field of Mechanics, Materials, Manufacturing, Design, and Thermal and so on. The laboratory components include Mechanical Workshops, CNC Lab, Thermo and Fluid Labs, as well as software learning relevant to the industry. Teaching – learning pedagogy involves practical learning through field visits, experiential learning through internships, and interaction with experts through series of Guest Lectures, Seminars, Workshops and Conferences.

A person who has completed D.Pharm. can be employed as a registered pharmacist in a community pharmacy (wholesale or retail-medical store/chemists & druggists) or hospital pharmacy. It is the minimum qualification to practice the pharmacy profession, therefore, it is mandatory that all dispensing of prescription medicines has to be done under the supervision of a pharmacist only.
