The programme on M.Sc. BSc Nursing is a four-year undergraduate programme offered by Uttaranchal University to prepare students to assume responsibilities as competent nurses in providing promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services. The programme enables the students to apply knowledge from physical, biological, and behavioural sciences in providing nursing care to individuals, families and communities. B.Sc. (Hons.) Microbiology with Research (4 Year Programme) will have specific focus on inculcating scientific and research skills with respect to role of microbiologist in industries, medicine and environmental studies. Specific industrial training in included in curriculum for students to identify industrial processes with specific role of microbiologist in quality control and research & development departments.  

B.Sc. (Hons.) forensic science is a three-year program spread into six semesters. The curriculum of forensic science is a blend of interdisciplinary fields including biology, chemistry, physics, microbiology, entomology, anthropology, drug chemistry, ballistics. The curriculum is enriched to provide conceptual knowledge along with sound technical skills and laboratory expertise.

Thermal Engineering emphasizes on the applications of the elemental principles of Thermal Engineering, which include Steam Power Plants, turbine Power Plants, Petroleum Refineries, and Solar Appliances, Cooling of equipment and Devices, Automobiles, I.C. Engines, Refrigeration Plants, Air-Conditioning System, Cold Storage Units, Propulsion Systems.

B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering program offers some of the important courses in the field of Mechanics, Materials, Manufacturing, Design, and Thermal and so on. The laboratory components include Mechanical Workshops, CNC Lab, Thermo and Fluid Labs, as well as software learning relevant to the industry. Teaching – learning pedagogy involves practical learning through field visits, experiential learning through internships, and interaction with experts through series of Guest Lectures, Seminars, Workshops and Conferences.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics with Research is a 4 year degree program being offered in Mathematics discipline. It is dedicated for applied research in the field of Mathematical Sciences and further helps in enhancing research acumen of the scholar along with exposure to internship in related fields.

The programme is a combination of modern and ancient English literature, consisting of three main areas of focus, i.e. Prose, Poetry, and Drama. The programme includes literature by not just England writers, but from all over the world. Cultural, political and historical contexts of English and linguistics are explored on an advanced level.

It prepares students for teaching and Creative English Writing. After Post-Graduate degree, a candidate can pursue Doctoral Degree or can appear in competitive examination for jobs in various government departments.
