M Tech Computer Science is a 2 year masters degree program that provides the student the ability to understand advanced principles of Computer Science and Engineering to solve problems and to continuously learn multidisciplinary concepts through MTech CSE Syllabus. The first two semesters include courses that cover the advanced topics of CSE. The later semesters involve studying the elective courses within domain or outside domain as open electives. Some courses covered are Distributed Systems, Advanced Computer Networks, Advanced Software Engineering, Algorithms etc.

The field of psychology is quite vast and it covers clinical psychology, counselling, General psychology, Business psychology, Forensic Psychology, International psychology, Educational Psychology and so on. Organizations looking for psychologist for their business ask for different skill sets such as good communication skills, Analytical ability, emotional balance, problem solving capability, ethical responsibility etc. for their human resource management, good social behaviour, excellent mental health and stress management.

To create substantial impact through teaching, research, and application, the discipline of psychology provides students with the opportunity to develop an understanding of behaviour and experience from a variety of theoretical perspectives. The students are provided specialization in a wide variety of psychological topics including general, social, abnormal and organizational psychology. It works either on the basis of data without or with the explicitly designed program or machine algorithm. Few examples where AI is used are online Game playing, customer support using catboats, robot, intelligent humanoid, Siri, work on artificial intelligence. Machine learning works on the information extracted from data and it is considered as subfield of artificial intelligence. ML is used or predictions or in decision making based on the past data, for example, online recommendations, picture detections, search engine algorithm, auto-friend tagging suggestions etc.

Aerospace is a branch of engineering that involves the science, design, and manufacturing of Aircrafts, Rockets and Spacecraft. The world of Aerospace engineering today is involved in the design of reusable spacecraft and rockets for space exploration, hypersonic transport aircraft for faster travel, drones of multidisciplinary applications including military applications, glide and cruise capable hypersonic missiles, stealthy reconnaissance and fighter aircrafts, and many more. The B. Tech. in Aerospace Engineering program is meant to create industry-ready professionals by training students on varied technical fields of aerospace engineering involving design, analysis, maintenance, process engineering, and manufacturing of aircrafts, rockets, missiles, spacecraft, helicopters satellites and drones.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry is a 3 years program deals with in- depth study of various areas of Organic, Inorganic, Physical and Analytical Chemistry. Spectroscopic Techniques, Nanotechnology, Total Quality Management and Environment and Green Chemistry are some other courses being taught apart from Interdisciplinary courses like, Computer Applications, Mathematics, Environmental Sciences and Humanities. These Programs provide the knowledge of Chemical Science & Environment which is beneficial for the students in the field of Research and Development. Industrial visits, Workshops, seminars conferences etc are some of the pedagogical activities of the discipline apart from programme curriculum.

Computer Science offers the students a platform to explore the practical and theoretical knowledge of computation, program design, programming, computer hardware and software as well as integrates with other fields of science and engineering. Courses in the field of Computer science are being offered in other domains like Agriculture, Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, etc.

The teaching – learning pedagogy of the program bridges the gap between industry and academia by preparing young professionals for the nitty-gritty of computer applications, JAVA, Python, Advanced Database, Block Chain, Soft Computing, Computer Networking, Big Data, Cloud Computing, NET Technology, Internet of Things, Digital Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security,  Advanced Java Script etc.

With the expansion of chemical-related production because of industrialization, there has been an increase in need for a specialized study of industrial chemistry that prepares students with the skills to navigate the industry. The Faculty of Applied & Life Sciences provides a two-year Postgraduate degree programme in Industrial Chemistry, which prepares students to become critical human resources for the nation’s overall economic growth.

The programme follows a curriculum that is unique and is aligned with industry requirements, ensuring that students continue to get the greatest level of industrial relevance. B.Tech Civil Engineering is a 4 years (8 semesters) undergraduate program designed to create engineers who can work for the society for creating space to improve their living standard, create safe and secure environment from natural and manmade disasters. The teaching – learning pedagogy involves not only class room teaching but also experiential learning through practical in the lab, fields and interactions with experts, training in workshops, internships, live projects and field work. Students are taught variety of courses in the field of structural engineering, transportation engineering, water supply and waste water treatment, environment engineering, foundation engineering, surveying, estimation and costing etc. Apart from that students have exposure to software learning relevant to industry and it is ensured that students are industry ready after leaving the college life and easily adaptive to the new environment through skill development based courses.

Geographical Information System (GIS) is an inter-disciplinary field that builds expertise in the application of geospatial technologies to the most important real-world concerns in the areas of the environment, earth sciences, social sciences, and economics. The field focuses on translating geospatial data into useful end-user information by using acquisition, processing, characterisation, analysis, and modelling to better understand geographic patterns, processes, and interactions at all scales, from macro to global.

B.Tech CSE with specialization in Cyber Security is a 4 years (or 8 semesters) specialised undergraduate program that focuses on comprehensive knowledge of cyber-crime, network security, cryptography, intrusion detection and prevention systems. To safeguard an IT infrastructure, the program provides essential information on how to analyse and resolve security risks in networks and computer systems. Secure software and hardware must be designed, developed, tested, and evaluated to create rules and procedures for managing security threats in any organisation. In view of this, program also offers in depth knowledge of data structures, algorithm design and analysis, security policies, security laws, firewalls, and computer forensics.

During the course of the program, student work on the latest tools in their laboratory sessions to acquire complete knowledge of the subjects. Institute encourage students to gain practical knowledge by various expert guest lectures on subjects, such as, ethical hacking, cyber laws, government policies on cyber-crime etc. Industrial visits are also organized for students to give them field exposure.
