Thermal Engineering emphasizes on the applications of the elemental principles of Thermal Engineering, which include Steam Power Plants, turbine Power Plants, Petroleum Refineries, and Solar Appliances, Cooling of equipment and Devices, Automobiles, I.C. Engines, Refrigeration Plants, Air-Conditioning System, Cold Storage Units, Propulsion Systems.

B.A. (Hons.) English with research is an undergraduate programme in English Literature. The programme teaches about English Language and Literature and the way it has developed into its modern form along with highlighting varied aspects of English society through its genres like Drama, Poetry, Novel, etc.

The Programme is intended for the students who have a strong interest in English Language and Literature and who show promise in the study of either or both. Students with research inclination receive an intensive educational experience with respect to the courses offered. The student learns to critically analyze and debate on a variety of texts, and acquires knowledge of literary movements, periods and critical approaches. Cyber security is the practice of protecting computers, servers, electronic systems, networks, mobiles as well as data from malicious attacks. It involves protecting software, hardware, as well as user’s data. It also helps prevent cybercriminals from gaining access to various devices connected through networks. It also trains how to monitor systems and networks for intrusions. In view of that Uttaranchal University offers BCA – Cyber Security, a three-year undergraduate program designed to fulfil the requirements of the IT industries.

BCA- cyber security program focuses on providing relevant skills to establish sample collection techniques from different sources that help students to profile threat actors. A person who has completed D.Pharm. can be employed as a registered pharmacist in a community pharmacy (wholesale or retail-medical store/chemists & druggists) or hospital pharmacy. It is the minimum qualification to practice the pharmacy profession, therefore, it is mandatory that all dispensing of prescription medicines has to be done under the supervision of a pharmacist only.
