Agronomy deals with planning and provision of food in all conditions. It directly contributes in making our country self sufficient and independent mainly due to its competence of aiding surplus food grain production. Post Graduation in Agronomy provides wide knowledge on cultivation practices of all crops, horticultural crops, soil, water, fertilizer and similar aspects. Agronomy is a core branch of agriculture and facilitates in crop production and increasing the livelihood of the farmers.

It is aimed towards research and development with exposure and experience of working amidst cutting-edge technology. Thermal Engineering emphasizes on the applications of the elemental principles of Thermal Engineering, which include Steam Power Plants, turbine Power Plants, Petroleum Refineries, and Solar Appliances, Cooling of equipment and Devices, Automobiles, I.C. Engines, Refrigeration Plants, Air-Conditioning System, Cold Storage Units, Propulsion Systems.

B.Tech in Electronics & Communication engineering with IoT is a 4 years full time programme which gives the detailed idea and understanding of the IoT architecture and its applications in various fields. This programme integrates topics from basic sciences to technology with applicable practice in labs and projects to help students to develop problem-solving abilities while meeting industry standards. Apart from the curriculum, the teaching pedagogical activities include industrial visits, hand on projects, seminars, practice on various simulation tool, workshops on new technologies, and guest lecturers.

The field of psychology is quite vast and it covers clinical psychology, counselling, General psychology, Business psychology, Forensic Psychology, International psychology, Educational Psychology and so on. B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics with Research is a 4 year degree program being offered in Mathematics discipline. It is dedicated for applied research in the field of Mathematical Sciences and further helps in enhancing research acumen of the scholar along with exposure to internship in related fields.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics is a three year Honors Program. The thrust of this Program is to impart extensive knowledge of Physics, both in theoretical and practical spheres. The Programme involves Thermodynamics, Quantum Mechanics, Optics, Heat & Thermodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, Atomic, Nuclear & Particle Physics and Lasers & Instrumentation and Electronics. Besides these, the students will also study the generic subjects like English, Mathematics and Computer Application.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Microbiology with Research (4 Year Programme) will have specific focus on inculcating scientific and research skills with respect to role of microbiologist in industries, medicine and environmental studies. Specific industrial training in included in curriculum for students to identify industrial processes with specific role of microbiologist in quality control and research & development departments.
