B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry is a 3 years program deals with in- depth study of various areas of Organic, Inorganic, Physical and Analytical Chemistry. Spectroscopic Techniques, Nanotechnology, Total Quality Management and Environment and Green Chemistry are some other courses being taught apart from Interdisciplinary courses like, Computer Applications, Mathematics, Environmental Sciences and Humanities. These Programs provide the knowledge of Chemical Science & Environment which is beneficial for the students in the field of Research and Development. Industrial visits, Workshops, seminars conferences etc are some of the pedagogical activities of the discipline apart from programme curriculum.

A person who has completed D.Pharm. can be employed as a registered pharmacist in a community pharmacy (wholesale or retail-medical store/chemists & druggists) or hospital pharmacy. It is the minimum qualification to practice the pharmacy profession, therefore, it is mandatory that all dispensing of prescription medicines has to be done under the supervision of a pharmacist only.

Environmental Engineering encompasses ecology, geology, chemistry, biology, hydrology, microbiology and considered to be a vast field. It’s major emphasis is on protection of all living organism, their health and environment. It is a discipline related to Civil Engineering as well as Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. Environmental engineers are involved in the field of water and waste management, and involved in the major challenges like global warming, acid rain, ozone depletion, and water and air pollution. That requires a specialized training in the field and owing to this Uttaranchal University offers a post graduate program in the field of Environment Engineering.

Program curriculum has been designed to fulfil the growing demand for individuals who can respond to the advanced knowledge needs of industry, research organisations, and academics. It is focused on research and development, as well as exposure to and experience working with cutting-edge technology. Pharmaceutical Chemistry is an interdisciplinary field concerned with the design and synthesis of different types of drug from the biologically active molecules. The field of pharmaceutical chemistry is very dynamic and combines a broad range of scientific disciplines such as drug discovery development and also therapies.  It provides students with a thorough understanding of drug mechanism of action, structure activity relationship (SAR), acid base and physico- chemical properties and absorption, metabolism and toxicity profiles.

M.Sc. Pharmaceutical Chemistry is a 2 year, post-graduate degree program involve aspects related to the general chemistry, organic chemistry, synthesis and analysis with different analytical techniques for their characterizations as well as their utilization.

The main objective is to develop skilled pharmaceutical chemists, with a thorough understanding and knowledge of drug and their action and utilize their potential to work efficiently and effectively in an interdisciplinary atmosphere.

Bachelor of Pharmacy degree mainly prepares the candidates to work in the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory body, clinical research etc. The programme structure of the degree includes practical training in the pharmaceutical industry environment.

M.Sc. in Plant Pathology trains the students in the identification of the symptoms of different plant diseases, disease management and treatment through chemicals.

BBA program gives the students strategic outlook on problems of business organization, management & solutions to them. The BBA program seeks to provide to the management trainees the understanding of the theory, practice of management and the required knowledge and skills to succeed in the business world. The degree programme is intended for those who wish to acquire business and managerial knowledge and skills. The curriculum provides the students with a strategic perspective on contemporary issues in management. Aerospace is a branch of engineering that involves the science, design, and manufacturing of Aircrafts, Rockets and Spacecraft. The world of Aerospace engineering today is involved in the design of reusable spacecraft and rockets for space exploration, hypersonic transport aircraft for faster travel, drones of multidisciplinary applications including military applications, glide and cruise capable hypersonic missiles, stealthy reconnaissance and fighter aircrafts, and many more. The B. Tech. in Aerospace Engineering program is meant to create industry-ready professionals by training students on varied technical fields of aerospace engineering involving design, analysis, maintenance, process engineering, and manufacturing of aircrafts, rockets, missiles, spacecraft, helicopters satellites and drones.

The program B.Tech Civil Engineering with specialization in BIM is 4 years (or 8 semesters) undergraduate program to help students learning expertise in the field of building information modeling. Program will expose students to Building Information Modeling (BIM), a technology-assisted model-based project delivery approach that brings together different built environment disciplines.  BIM plays a crucial role in building documentation and students completing this course will have the skills required for jobs in BIM-related fields or to pursue BIM further in their post-graduation degree. In the labs, students will learn computer graphics, programming, 3D computer modeler, BIM software for controlling construction process, workflows and protocols.

LL.B. offers students the opportunity to study the closely related disciplines of law and politics. It is a valued competency in students who wish to study public policy in the legal context.
