This specialisation is ideal for experienced tertiary teachers who want to critique and enhance their professional learning and practice. You examine your own practice as a higher education teacher through an inquiry into your own practice, and critique and redesign of curriculum and assessment practices. Courses also consider broader topics including global impacts on higher education, and leadership and collegial practice.

In the Postgraduate Diploma in Arts you can choose from a wide range of courses, creating a very flexible course of study.

In this one-year intensive program you can select advanced level courses in language and culture, or Maori development. You develop advanced knowledge in your chosen area, and further your critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills. The programme also prepares you for further postgraduate study.
