Spatial designers create places for people to live, work, play and imagine. As a spatial design student, you unlock the potential of places by designing spatial environments that support, influence, and transform how we live now and into the future. You’ll learn from an expert team who has been teaching spatial and interior designers for nearly forty years.

The Master of Applied Finance provides you with the skills for a wide range of financial fields. It’s designed for professionals with an unrelated degree who want to gain the specialised skills for a career in the finance industry.

These skills include concepts and techniques related to corporate finance, investment and financial risk analysis, restructuring and governance, an understanding of current issues in international investment, and the development of portfolio management strategies.

The AUT Business School is part of the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program. The Master of Applied Finance curriculum is based on the Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) from the CFA Program and this degree will position you well to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst designation – a globally respected and recognised investment credential.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration provides an entry point for students who don’t want to enrol in a full Master of Business Administration (MBA) or who need added flexibility. All applicants need at least three years of relevant work experience. You're encouraged to continue into the MBA after completing this postgraduate diploma.

Because this major is part of the Bachelor of Arts, it’s easy to combine it with many other aspects of society and culture. Choose from majors in areas as diverse as education, social sciences, psychology, international studies, Maori development, event management or languages.

You can build your degree in a way that suits you study either one or two majors, select from a wide range of minors or perhaps add elective courses from another area of study.
