A Master of Laws will deepen your legal knowledge and legal research skills.

We offer a range of study options to suit your needs you can complete the Master of Laws entirely by thesis, entirely by coursework, or through a combination of coursework and research.
One area of focus for our taught program is advanced criminal law, enabling you to gain further expertise in that area. Other courses focus on human rights law, and indigenous rights and law.

You can choose to study the generic Master of Science focusing on either science or computer and mathematical sciences, or one of: Applied Conservation, Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Food Science, Geospatial Science, Marine Science, Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. Architecture focuses on the relationship between people and their environments. Study architecture at AUT and gain an understanding of the critical, ethical, aesthetic, social cultural and technological components of architecture and the design of sustainable future environments.
You’ll develop a critical approach to architectural design, become familiar with architectural history and contemporary architecture practice, and learn to apply Te Aranga Maori design principles to your work.

In this one-year intensive program you can select advanced level courses in language and culture, or Maori development. The Mechatronics Engineering major covers engineering fundamentals as well as human-centred design and systems thinking.
