A Master of Laws will deepen your legal knowledge and legal research skills.

We offer a range of study options to suit your needs you can complete the Master of Laws entirely by thesis, entirely by coursework, or through a combination of coursework and research.
One area of focus for our taught program is advanced criminal law, enabling you to gain further expertise in that area. Other courses focus on human rights law, and indigenous rights and law.

The Graduate Diploma in Arts is designed for students with an undergraduate degree who want to continue into further study and broaden their skills in as little as one year.

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) is for students with an undergraduate degree in applied mathematics, computer science or science.

At the heart of the programme is the honours dissertation; an independent small-scale research project on a scientific topic. We have strong links with key industry organisations, and many students complete their research project in collaboration with an industry partner. courses in the Bachelor of Science (Honours) focus on the latest developments in applied mathematics, computer science and science.

This graduate diploma is designed for professionals, including secondary school teachers, who want to update their knowledge of current technologies and applications of science, or computer and mathematical sciences. The Graduate Diploma in Science also prepares students for postgraduate study in an area of science, or computer and mathematical sciences in which they were not originally trained.

This interdisciplinary program can open up opportunities in international human rights organisations, government, policy agencies, human rights institutions and national NGOs in New Zealand and overseas. It’s also great if you’re currently working in law, regulatory agencies, human rights or education.

The Master of Visual Arts is an interdisciplinary research degree for visual art graduates and creative professionals.

The degree is highly flexible and caters for students from a variety of backgrounds.You will select a learning pathway that reflects your art practice and professional interests.

You will work within the supportive culture of a studio environment involving group discussion, and critique of each other’s work. You have access to individual studio spaces, supervisory support and well-equipped specialist facilities.Your research will contribute to diverse and emerging dialogues around creative practice.

Spatial designers create places for people to live, work, play and imagine. Study the Spatial Design major to prepare for a career designing interiors, furniture, exhibitions, events, outdoor spaces, retail environments, scenes for stage and film, and art installations. As a spatial design student, you unlock the potential of places by designing spatial environments that support, influence, and transform how we live now and into the future. You’ll learn from an expert team who has been teaching spatial and interior designers for nearly forty years.

In the Postgraduate Diploma in Arts you can choose from a wide range of courses, creating a very flexible course of study.

In this one-year intensive program you can select advanced level courses in language and culture, or Maori development. You develop advanced knowledge in your chosen area, and further your critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills. The programme also prepares you for further postgraduate study.
