Gain an understanding of the political, economic, social, and cultural factors that influence the development, implementation, and evaluation of social policy in Aotearoa New Zealand. You’ll study law, politics and the roles of central and local government in a democratic society. This will give you insights into the relationships between the state, judiciary, legal system, political parties and public in shaping legislation and developing policy.

The Graduate Diploma in Arts (Philosophy) will give you the equivalent of an undergraduate major in philosophy without completing a second bachelor’s degree.

Philosophy isn’t just about abstract thinking. Studying philosophy develops your critical thinking skills: your ability to assess whether arguments are rationally compelling and to make your arguments compelling to others. Finance and financial decision-making include determining what to invest in, how to pay or finance the investments and what to do with the money earned on those investments.

The Diploma in Business Studies is a flexible program that can be completed in one year full-time.

The Graduate Diploma in Facilities Management (FM) is aimed at professionals working in facilities management who hold a non-FM-related tertiary qualification. For example: engineering, commerce or science. It provides an educational route for FM professionals to progress into more senior leadership roles in the industry.

The structure and content of the qualification is designed to build on your existing knowledge of the operational maintenance and management of built facilities. It ranges across the many and varied core skills required by facilities managers. 

Massey University’s Postgraduate Diploma in Science and Technology (Conservation Biology) gives you the opportunity to join the pathway to in-depth research at a master's level. The qualification consists of 90 credits of taught courses and 30 credits of research.
