If you want to become a registered social worker, but don’t have a bachelor’s degree in social work, then this qualification is for you.

The Master of Applied Social Work is designed for those with relevant practice experience, or a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. That could include psychology, education, law, medicine, nursing, sociology, anthropology, theology or case management, or other related disciplines.This qualification will prepare you for practice and registration as a social worker in New Zealand and most other countries.

Massey’s BA (Psychology) will help you explore how the brain works, and understand how we think, behave and make decisions. With a Massey BA (Psychology) you will explore the thoughts, feelings and actions of individuals and groups in a social and cultural context. Psychology will help you make sense of the human impact on the world in which we live. At Massey, you’ll learn about the natural, social and biological side as well as research methods and applications of psychology.

The Graduate Diploma in Arts (Economics) will give you the equivalent of an undergraduate major in economics without completing a second bachelor’s degree. The Graduate Diploma in Arts (Economics) is a bridging tool for graduates in other subjects to get the equivalent of a major in economics.

Specialise in Linguistics for your Bachelor of Communication at Massey

The Bachelor of Communication (Linguistics) you will explore how the brain manages language and the unwritten rules of interaction. 
In the Bachelor of Communication (Linguistics), you will explore how language works to generate meaning and how it is used not only to share information, but also to manage social relations and influence behaviour. You will also learn about the unwritten rules that shape all of our social interactions.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Information Sciences will give you in-depth knowledge and expertise in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering. Many students choose to complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Information Sciences with a mix of courses that best suit you.

You can include courses in computer science, information technology or software engineering. You can also add data science, cyber security, information systems and/or business management.

The Master of Engineering Studies (Electronics and Computer Engineering) combines taught and research courses at a postgraduate level.

If you are already working, or your research experience is limited, this qualification will give you the learning you need to take your career to the next level or pursue more in-depth postgraduate research.

It will help you become an excellent electronic and computer engineer. You’ll be multi-disciplinary, have excellent practical skills and be able to design, develop and manage both software and hardware projects.
