The Graduate Diploma in Management allows you to add a specialisation in management with elective options in international business, human resource management, logistics and more to further your career. The Graduate Diploma in Management is ideal if you are seeking promotion in your existing employment, wish to widen your skill and knowledge base and keep ahead in the knowledge game or if you are considering a career change, including self-employment.

Get started with Postgraduate study and pathway onto the Master of Applied Management. NMIT offers a Master of Applied Management pathway qualification. The Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Management is the first 10 months of the 15 month Master of Applied Management. You will complete the four core compulsory courses from the Master of Applied Management, plus four elective courses of your choice. This program aims to enable students to enhance their applied management skills and knowledge by focussing on more specific and in-depth aspects of management. The range of elective courses aim to provide options that will complement a range of particular professional experience and career aspirations.

Through this three year program you will develop a wide range of skills and knowledge related to Animation and Computer Generated Imagery (CGI). This program is designed to give you the skills you need for employment in the CGI industry, and in the creative and cultural sectors, or in other sectors where CGI is used. You will gain experience using industry-standard animation and CGI software and processing for projects.

You will use your existing graduate skills or extensive experience to start your business study at the equivalent level to the final year of a business degree. With this program, you’ll work closely with adventure operators to gain experience in the adventure tourism industry. NMIT has conveniently located a short distance from three awesome National Parks (Kahurangi, Abel Tasman, and Nelson Lakes). While there are a number of classes on campus, you will also often be out and about hiking, rafting, rock climbing, sea-kayaking, skiing, snowboarding or canyoning.
