The Graduate Diploma in Marketing allows you to add a specialisation in marketing with elective options in strategic management, operations, international business and more to further your career. The Bachelor of Arts and Media programme provides the fundamental skills to enable graduates to move into personal practice or embark on a career in arts and design.

Grounded in academic and technical excellence, you will learn the effective use of visual language by developing extensive knowledge in painting, graphic design, animation, photography, digital video and illustration.

You will develop fundamental skills in your first year through various compulsory courses, including lens-based media, graphic design, object design, image-making and communication, and critical studies.

This is the second year of the Diploma qualifications.

With this program, you’ll work closely with adventure operators to gain experience in the adventure tourism industry. NMIT has conveniently located a short distance from three awesome National Parks (Kahurangi, Abel Tasman, and Nelson Lakes). While there are a number of classes on campus, you will also often be out and about hiking, rafting, rock climbing, sea-kayaking, skiing, snowboarding or canyoning.

Through this three year program you will develop a wide range of skills and knowledge related to Animation and Computer Generated Imagery (CGI). This program is designed to give you the skills you need for employment in the CGI industry, and in the creative and cultural sectors, or in other sectors where CGI is used. You will gain experience using industry-standard animation and CGI software and processing for projects.
