Complete the third year of your degree by immersing in the “workhub” with real clients - getting truly ready for industry. This work-integrated learning component comprises380 hours of work experience. UCOL's Bachelor of Nursing will provide you with learning opportunities that enable you to become an effective registered nurse, providing competent, comprehensive nursing care.

When you enrol in UCOL’s Bachelor of Nursing program you'll be assigned your own personal tutor to guide you right through your nursing journey. They’ll support you through the curriculum, which includes up to 160 hours of clinical placements in your first year. Later in the program these clinical experiences will include primary health care, medical and surgical, and mental health settings.

Advanced Strength and Conditioning

Learn how to conduct and apply advanced assessment and intervention techniques to competitive athletes. Your studies also include planning a testing session for a group of competitive athletes (including risk management) and the application of sports strapping.

Applied Professional Practice: Strength and Conditioning 

Immerse yourself in structured industry environments so that you can independently apply and develop your knowledge and practical skill set in delivering structured training programmes to athletes. Your studies also include conducting a pilot research project and reporting on the effectiveness of your interventions on performance-related parameters.

As a graduate of the degree you will demonstrate intellectual independence, critical thinking and analytic rigor. You will be able to work with confidence, both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a science laboratory.
