Our BA (Hons) Electronic Music Production degree will help you produce your music projects to a professional standard, no matter your current level of experience. You’ll develop your skills in DAW-based production and studio recording to an advanced level, exploring a diverse range of materials such as field recordings, music apps, synthesisers, and vocal recordings that you can use to enhance your creative projects.

You’ll get invaluable feedback on all of your creative writing work from professional writers, including our teaching staff and Royal Literary Fund fellows, as well as your fellow students. Investigating filmmaking practices from all over the world, and learning the language of film from the perspective of a filmmaker, you’ll make your own short films in video, animation or 16mm format, with full training in camera operation, sound recording and editing from professional filmmakers. If you specialise in filmmaking, you’ll put your well-practised skills to the test in a project that, once complete, will be screened at the Cambridge Arts Picturehouse. The best may also be selected for showing at the Cambridge Film Festival. You’ll also work closely with a number of graphic design studios, including?Cambridge University Press, CPL,?The District, and Onespacemedia, who will set your live briefs as well as providing lectures and one-to-one feedback, ending with a final review that can often lead to work placements, internships and long-term professional relationships.

Our BA (Hons) Music Performance will challenge your creativity. You’ll learn to analyse and deconstruct existing modes of performance, songwriting and composition before finding your own way to create new performances or rework the music of others.

As the course develops, you’ll examine increasingly complex performance scenarios, using them to inform aspects of your own live work. Weekly performance workshops in Year 2 will help you hone your stagecraft in particular styles of performance, while analysis seminars will allow you to explore vocal and instrument techniques by genre.

By studying MA Interior Design Innovation at ARU, you will develop the theoretical, practical, and leadership skills, and understanding and knowledge critical to creating dynamic and future forms of living, working, learning, and relaxing.

You’ll gain a broad understanding of future and smart cities from the perspective of interior design, and tackle mental, physical, emotional, and social health and wellbeing issues in a global context by rethinking existing spaces, environments, and experiences. These spaces could include retail; exhibitions; entertainment; leisure; housing; hospitality; urban and human interactions; transport and mobility.

You’ll work closely with students from across Cambridge School of Art, including postgraduate students from MA Human-Centred Design, and MA Art, Health and Wellbeing, on an industry-led collaborative project, delivering public-facing events.

As an Interior Design Innovation student in Cambridge, you’ll be able to work in a start-up environment and relaxed culture in which creativity and creative problem solving are valued, building strong relationships and freely exchanging thoughts and ideas.

Most importantly, you’ll receive support and guidance from our experienced staff who, as well as running their own studio practice, have worked with companies such as OMA, Fitch, Ford, Ramboll, Transport Research London, and Samsung.

Our Animal Behaviour BSc (Hons) course is the longest-established animal behaviour course in the UK and is recognised by the Society of Biology.
