This program focuses on giving you the necessary knowledge and skills to achieve well-regarded positions within the maritime and offshore safety and security industries. The Accounting and Finance degree is both highly selective and highly demanding. You will be working hard for the rewards it delivers. The degree is delivered in strategic partnership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). By meeting the relevant criteria, BSc Accounting and Finance students can achieve up to eight exemptions from the ICAEW's Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA) and receive similar exemptions from other professional accountancy bodies.

Your coursework will involve you in examining accounting and finance from the perspective of those who use financial reports to evaluate company and managerial performance.

This one-year, full-time, expertly structured Investment Management postgraduate programme will provide you with the real-world accounting and finance expertise that leads to a wide range of rewarding international roles.

You will acquire a sound knowledge of the theoretical foundations that underpin modern investment and risk management techniques.

Your peers on the Energy, Trade and Finance postgraduate course will be on average, 24, with a minimum 2.1 or equivalent bachelor’s degree. It’s likely you will have a few years’ work experience either through an internship of full-time employment. You needn’t have any prior knowledge of energy, commodities, shipping or finance, although you should be comfortable with quantitative methods (mathematics and statistics).

You’ll emerge from master's in energy, trade and finance course fully equipped to operate effectively in this highly competitive international energy industry. Developed to respond to the growing demand for flexible music and audio professionals, the course is focused on equipping you with an exceptional range of intellectual, technical and creative skills.

This degree has a unique focus to help you understand the relationships between music, sound and other forms of digital media. For example, film, games, web-based applications, and novel modes of performance.

This degree prepares you to support women through diverse experiences of pregnancy and childbirth. You’ll learn about more straightforward births, as well as complicated and emergency situations many women experience.

Alongside practical midwifery skills, you’ll develop your critical thinking and abilities to assess other factors affecting pregnant women and new mothers, such as their psychological wellbeing, social environment and culture.

This accredited integrated master’s covers mechanical, computational and sustainable life-cycle engineering in this high-tech field.
