Our Cyber Technology MSc course consists of four main themes –Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Digital Forensics and Software Engineering. It can be studied by combining modules from all five categories, allowing you to specialise in your chosen area of interest. Alternatively, you have the opportunity to choose mixed pathways, for example the choices of modules could lead to a degree in Cyber Technology with Artificial Intelligence.

The Air Transport Management MSc has been developed by two leading aviation academics in conjunction with industry partners, to offer a critical, comprehensive and practical understanding of the structure and operation of the international air transport industry. It has been designed to equip future leaders with a range of transferrable and analytical skills that can be directly applied in the workplace.

You will study airline operations, including licensing, scheduling, fleet planning, and aircraft acquisition. You will explore the management and operations of airports and the key challenges facing the sector, and gain insight into the business models and strategies that determine the future of the airline industry. You can also tailor the programme to reflect your particular interests or career aspirations through focusing on a particular area of air transport management in your dissertation.

The programme is suited to both recent graduates and those with existing professional experience who wish to expand their knowledge of the commercial air transport industry. You will explore both traditional hand skills and emerging technologies while working with a wide range of materials such as hot glass, clay, paper, fine metals, plastics, resin, wood and textiles. Students produce a wide range of objects, including individual artefacts for galleries and to commission, small batches of similar items, limited editions, public installations and designs for industry. Bespoke objects are produced for domestic, interior spaces, exterior spaces, to be worn on the body, and can be hand-held or large-scale sculptural pieces.

Professional practice is embedded throughout the course to grow your entrepreneurial and business skills, preparing you for your career. Graduates have gone on to set up their own craft workshops, secure roles in design studios with brands including Sainsbury’s, work in the craft industry with leading ceramicists, for example Sue Pryke and Hannah Tounsend, as well as to collaborate with the likes of the National Trust.
