You will:

• Learn to play in a range of musical styles and genres, in a variety of professional contexts.
• Play regularly in ensembles, including session bands, vocal groups, contemporary music groups and laptop orchestras
• Benefit from guest speaker artists and ensembles. Recent visitors include Adrian Utley (Portishead), Graham Fitkin (composer), Kenny Werner (pianist), Ed O'Brien (Radiohead) and Kevos (ensemble).
• Have the chance to gain industry experience through a three-month placement or internship, from shadowing a professional composer or interning with a record label, to working with a professional orchestra.

Throughout your studies we'll help you understand key business and marketing theories. From developing complex problem-solving skills to navigating consumer psychology, digging deep into big data to understand the ethics of your practice, you'll learn to harness creativity, cultural awareness and business acumen to deliver impactful marketing strategies across a range of digital platforms.

Business & Digital Marketing BSc(Hons) is accredited by the leading professional marketing body, The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). Guided by a team of industry professionals, expert academics and technical tutors, you'll learn about music composition, performance, recording, editing, mixing and mastering. You'll also hone skills in creating sound and music for a wide range of media, including game engines and interactive installations.

You will:

• Develop as an industry-ready artist with the creative, technical, academic and professional attributes needed to succeed
• Work in high-spec studio facilities with a range of digital and analogue hardware, software instruments and plug-ins and surround sound monitoring
• Access a wide range of industry-standard equipment including microphones, portable recorders, amps, synths, drum machines and controllers
• Collaborate with musicians, filmmakers, game designers, dancers, animators and designers on other Falmouth courses

You will:

Gaining a solid understanding of advertising, marketing, branding, narrative and audience, you'll produce innovative photographic, video and multimedia content. You'll learn how to tell compelling, omni-channel stories and shoot real commissions with our in-house agency, building your professional network through work experience in the industry.

You will:

• Work on real industry challenges, building the skills to respond to client briefs, from concept through to pitch and delivery

• Explore still life, food, product, portrait, beauty, fashion, location, lifestyle, documentary, interiors and architecture in both still and moving image

You'll explore the fundamentals of game development and the various roles and processes within the industry, while specialising in game animation.

Working in multi-skilled teams, you'll apply game theory to the creation of novel digital games, allowing you to develop your practice as an animator and experience the whole process of game development.

You will:

• Build your own games from day one and have the opportunity to establish your own company in your third year.
• Work in one of largest and best equipped dedicated game making spaces of any university in the UK.
• Change the games industry by making original games for new markets.
• Work in a department dedicated to gaming and be surrounded by people working in all aspects of the industry.
• Learn the fundamentals of animation and rigging in practical game-making.
• Develop a multi-disciplinary approach, using Unity and Unreal to touch upon all aspects of game creation.

You'll collaborate with other students in the Games Academy – from animators through to sound designers – to develop a multi-disciplinary approach with creativity at its heart.
