This degree will prepare you for a career working with children, young people and their families in a variety of settings across health, social care, education and youth justice.

You will have two work placements with our partner organisations, giving you the opportunity to put theory into practice. Placements will be in settings such as youth justice, early intervention, health services, schools and children's centres. We also give you the option to find your own placement with children and young people in a field you feel personally passionately about.

You'll develop a knowledge of social pedagogy practice, an inclusive and holistic approach to wellbeing, learning and growth. This degree is approved by the Social Pedagogy Professional Association (SPPA).

You will learn about children's law and rights and the importance of safeguarding children and young people. You'll also study child development, relationships, ethics and diversity and relationship-based professional practice.

During your three years, you will benefit from the expertise of lecturers and professionals from a number of different disciplines. You will be encouraged to explore different ways of working through creative workshops whilst developing your employability skills. Your research skills and creative abilities will be developed to produce exciting ideas to benefit children, young people and their families. You'll have the opportunity to study abroad in one of our European partner universities.

This course will provide you with the most up to date insights into HR today from both academic and industry practise. It will give you a strategical and operational understanding of HR in a global environment and you will develop your own professional practise and skills.

You will apply theories and frameworks of HR to the reality of how to implement HR practices in organisations today, as well as identify how technology also supports the function and employees' experiences. Using innovative and creative methods of learning, you will work directly on industry-led projects, hear from subject experts, and create solutions to solve current HR problems.

This Music Education MA course is designed to both broaden and refine the knowledge, teaching practices, and research skills of both current and prospective music educators. You will have the opportunity to study major issues in international music education research and practices, consider issues in the UK system of music education, engage with London community and school music settings, and undertake an independent research study project.
