It offers practical skills in the specification, design, modelling and implementation of software and hardware. You will gain specialist knowledge of digital communications, multimedia communications, wireless networks and security issues. You will study the technologies of LTE and 5G wireless networks and the Internet of Things.

On this practical course, you'll develop practical coaching skills as well as studying the science behind effective coaching, performance, leadership and sports analysis. You'll have access to sophisticated equipment to measure the physiological responses to exercise and analyse sports movements and skills.

Modules cover psychology, motivation, human physiology, anatomy, biomechanics and notational analysis. A project or dissertation on a selected topic will develop your independent learning skills.

This course explores the way societies understand crime and deviance and how they seek to secure social order, social justice and social control. Across the course, you'll consider how cultural and social values, life experiences and social inequalities are shaped by the social and global environments.
