Take a 'whole child' approach to the study of children and the issues that affect them and their families.

As part of this course, you’ll:

• Specialise your study through one of two distinct routes - Early Years and Children & Young People
• Choose the Early Years route if you want to focus on applying a critical lens to young children's education and care within a variety of settings
• Choose the Children & Young People route if you’re interested in focusing on critically examining concepts, contexts and practice related to childhood
• Recognise and champion every child. Using the latest research you’ll explore the theoretical and conceptual terrain of childhood to inform and develop your own practice

• Study sports journalism within the wider context of journalism as a practice
• Learn how to produce real journalism content within ethical, legal and institutional constraints and influences

Explore design in the intersection between art, gaming and technology.

As part of your course you’ll:

• Develop practical 2D/3D visualisation and compositional skills

• Understand the application of critical studies in relation to game art and what is required when working on the production of digital assets within game engine and visualisation technologies

You’ll engage with a series of stimulating summer projects before your course starts, designed to prepare you for first year of study.

Designed to give you an in-depth understanding of the rapidly evolving field of digital marketing, this course will also give you the skills to research and devise effective strategies to ensure organisations stay competitive and reach new audiences in today's challenging economic climate.

You will develop a detailed understanding of consumer motivations and habits, and you will explore ways to increase brand loyalty and market share through the use of the latest digital technologies and platforms across all marketing channels. • Learn to understand the complex social conditions that drive people to commit crime and how that expert knowledge can enhance your study of criminology
• Critically analyse and challenge responses to crime in order to help shape a better society
• Study a variety of topics such as modern theories of sociology and criminology, exploring issues such as youth crime, social exclusion and how the media shapes our perceptions of crime
• Choose your own area of investigation when researching and writing your dissertation
