This is the only course in the UK to offer a combination of transpersonal, psychoanalytic and critical approaches to psychology. You will explore ways of understanding the self as an open, evolving project that develops through interaction. This reflects developments at the leading edge of psychology, drawing upon insights from the history of human exploration of the self.

On this largely theoretical course, you will explore the relationship between psychology and cultural studies, philosophy, theology and social science. You will develop your understanding of different research methods and explore the use of language and the construction of meaning in real-world situations.

We work directly with Leeds museums and galleries and many regional events, including Leeds Lit Fest, poetry performance events and the Leeds West Indian Carnival.

• Work with choreographers, independent dance artists and directors
• Learn how to perform, direct, organise and teach, developing your skills in all areas of contemporary dance production

In your third year you’ll be able to choose a placement that appeals to you. You could help run a festival, shadow a choreographer, take part in a teaching residency, or do something else that is of interest to you.

The Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) regulates dietetics. The title of Dietitian is protected by law. This means that anyone who uses a designated title must be on the HCPC Register. Successful completion of the BSc (Hons) Dietetics course will give you the eligibility to apply for registration with the HCPC after you graduate.
