You’ll have access to software such as Logic Pro, Cubase, Adobe Audition, MAX MSP and Synthmaker. Your specialist modules might require you to use Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Unreal and other industry standard software.

This course is accredited by JAMES (Joint Audio Media Education Support) which encourages the delivery of workshops and lectures from industry professionals. A placement option and your final year project will provide you with opportunities to work with industry partners.

By specialising in human resources, you will gain an understanding of how to use an organisation's best resource - its workforce - to achieve its strategic goals and get the very best out of each individual and team. You will also study key perspectives on human behaviour, how these behaviours are affected by times of uncertainty and change and what you can do to mitigate these challenges.

This course is ideal for graduates of non-business related courses who want to boost their employability by adding fundamental business and management skills to their CV - with a particular leaning towards human resource management.

With a strong focus on practical learning, you will make use of our purpose-built business simulation suite, allowing you to devise rapid response strategies to address a range of business-critical challenges and crisis situations. Accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), this course allows you to study a range of contemporary themes within human geography, including globalisation, sustainability, identity and the diversity of human living.

Develop your theoretical understanding, technical skills and creative practice in the emerging field of sonic arts through a series of lectures, seminars and workshops which aim to challenge preconceptions surrounding musical composition, performance and sound art.

You will explore varied approaches to sound practice through exposure to modern ideas and techniques in the areas of electroacoustic music, spatial sound, contemporary music thinking and sound interactivity. You will have the chance to investigate new software and hardware tools, inquire into the ideas and practical work of the most influential contemporary music thinkers, such as John Cage, Pierre Schaeffer and Brian Eno, and produce a variety of creative artefacts to begin building your own music and sound repertoire.

The course is delivered by a team of practitioners, whose work at the forefront of this field enjoy critical acclaim at an international level, and who will support you in preparing for a career in sound or further study.

This integrated masters course provides the ideal platform to gain broad-based technical experience that will enable you to enter design, construction or operations roles within the civil engineering industry.

As part of this course, you’ll:

You’ll have the option to gain invaluable work experience through a placement year in industry and the opportunity to work with external clients in your final year.
