This programme combines Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, by introducing you to the design, implementation and maintenance of software and hardware components of modern computing systems as well as networks of intelligent devices.

Get transferable skills and hands-on experience with us
We’re the only undergraduate degree accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH). By studying with us you’ll get access to specialist teaching and learning spaces, including a food inspection laboratory and a Grade 2 microbiology laboratory.

Our guest lectures and industry links will give you the opportunity to further enhance your knowledge of areas including practical food inspection, food safety, health and safety, and private sector housing.

Once you’ve completed your environmental health course, CIEH learning portfolio and professional interview, you’ll gain a Certificate of Registration from the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB), which means you’ll be qualified as an Environmental Health Officer.

As well as gaining an in-depth knowledge of the subject, you will also gain the ability to investigate environmental health issues in a range of contexts and apply your knowledge of environmental health stressors to solve complex problems. You will be able to interpret data and design novel solutions to environmental health issues, as well as performing practical food inspections. You will gain effective communication and leadership in Environmental Health settings and develop academic research strategies and critical writing.

In recent decades, organisations have become increasingly reliant on effective supply chains in order to compete in the global market. This course equips you with a global view of the strategic and operational processes you need to manage the key functions of these supply chain processes, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management and production planning. Set in cutting-edge bioanalytical facilities our neuroscience degree will give you an opportunity to study and practice your new skills through both on campus (subject to availability in light of Covid 19) and on line learning.

Guided by our teaching staff – who are leading researchers in cognitive psychology, neuropsychology and neuroscience – you’ll explore a range of disciplines as you enhance your understanding of the function and dysfunction of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves. You'll focus on the theoretical concepts and approaches in criminology and their application to contemporary life through studying the impact of social divisions in minorities based on their experiences, interpretations, and representations of crime and criminal justice.
