You will enrol on a four-year course which includes the one-year foundation year. The number of students who progress to degree study is very high. The Foundation Year in Performing Arts is taught in our excellent studios and facilities at our Hendon campus by the same lecturing staff who teach on our degree courses. Build your electronic engineering skills
Electronic engineering has a visible impact on modern life - from smartphones to smart cars, and everything in between. You will design and build complex electronic circuits and systems-on-a-chip using a range of methods and software tools, applying a systems engineering approach to problem-solving, opening up career opportunities wherever automation is involved.

Led by our team of industry experts in high-tech labs, you’ll learn the specialist skills you need to succeed in a variety of roles that range from wireless and digital design and network design to network planning, mobile internet applications and services development.

• There are two honours degree programmes available for each area of study – a three-year Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) and a four-year Master of Engineering (MEng).
• Both degrees share a common first year, but due to the advanced nature of the MEng programme students must demonstrate they have the high-level knowledge and skills required at the end of year 2 and 3 to progress on the programme.
• You must apply direct to either the BEng or the MEng, but you can also choose to change programme. You must apply for the MEng in Year 1 if you want to guarantee your student loan will cover the fourth year of fees.

You’ll also learn about the key functions of a successful business – strategy development, management styles, business resourcing and more.

You’ll take part in group projects, talking to project managers who work on live projects so you can understand more about the role in business. You’ll also have guest speakers and coursework based on ongoing projects in a range of industries.

You’ll get to grips with the specialist equipment, systems and technologies that will give you the experience, expertise and confidence to apply your skill. Our degree will prepare you for career paths that range from organisational management and systems architects to chief information officers and enterprise architects.

This is an interdisciplinary course meaning the content's structured in ways that map explicitly to modern technology, including systems design, application development, client-side programming, and much more.

Build your information systems skills

You’ll have the opportunity to take a year-long, paid work experience placement as part of a four-year study path (subject to securing an organisation that is able to support such a placement during the COVID-19 pandemic). We’ll also give you industry professionals and work experience opportunities to help you further develop your professional skills and network. In the past, our students have taken part in Sky's hackathon which tested their knowledge and team-working skills.

We’re in the process of gaining BCS (British Computer Society) accreditation for our computer science degrees, which means you’ll be able to gain BCS membership once it’s awarded.

This one-year course is ideal for students looking to develop knowledge in information technology and the application of IT in business. The course is a final year top-up programme to help you gain the skills to pursue a career in the field.

You’ll graduate with a range of different skills employers want. This will include business-oriented knowledge and awareness, communication, technical computing, project management, and many more. How you’ll practice your skills

• One of the ways you’ll apply all the learned skills is by undertaking an individual project. You’ll work with a supervisor who has specialist knowledge of their field to choose and pursue a theme that suits your interests and career goals. It’ll give you the chance to problem-solve, just like you would in a place of work. All supervisory sessions will be held online during the 2020/21 academic year and you will not be required to attend face to face meetings.
