Designed to prepare students for a variety of careers in computer science, the MSc Computer Science masters programme combines both computing and important application domains, enabling you to increase your broad-based knowledge in the field while focusing on one of a range of curricular specialisations.

The Politics with Psychology BSc (Hons) combines the study of Politics & International Relations with Psychology.
Your Psychology minor complements these studies by exploring biological, cognitive, and psychosocial areas of contemporary scientific psychology, leading to differences in social behaviours and attitudes and personality dynamics.

This innovative degree allows you to consider how the psychology of individuals shapes government, as well as how sociocultural links affect international relations. The Philosophy, Politics & Economics BA (Hons) at NCH offers three separate pathways to the degree. The Philosophy pathway enables you to study Philosophy as your major subject, comprising 50% of your undergraduate degree, alongside Politics and Economics as joint minors, each of which will form 25% of your degree studies.

The central aim of our Philosophy, Politics & Economics BA (Hons) programme is to increase your understanding of, and ability to engage with, central questions, arguments, and texts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, and to provide a lively sense of interrelations between these subjects.

The Art History with Law BA (Hons) will allow you to follow your passion and prepare for your career. The Art History major gives you the opportunity to see and interpret moments in history through their architecture and material culture. The course combines cultural surveys with more intense, media-specific subjects including architecture, landscape and painting. For your Law minor, you will study key issues in Law thematically, allowing you to develop commercial awareness highly valued by a range of employers.

Learn about the structures which affect real-life decisions and events around the world and gain a rigorous knowledge of the historical context leading to those events. Develop the quantitative skills needed to interpret contemporary economics as practised, alongside the ability to analyse the theory behind both economic and historical study of the world.

The central aim of our PPH program is to increase your understanding of, and ability to engage with, central questions, arguments, and texts in Philosophy, Politics and History, and to provide a lively sense of interrelations between these subjects. With the Philosophy, Politics & History BA (Hons) at NCH, history will be your major and you will study the other two as joint minors. In each year, you’ll study two courses in your major subject, and one course in each of the remaining two minor subjects.

The Politics & International Relations with Philosophy BSc (Hons) will equip you to analyse the actions of states with clarity and rigour. You’ll compare the political institutions of different countries, examining from where they derive their legitimacy and how they interact with other organisations. You’ll take a course in political theory, questioning not only how these institutions work, but also how thinkers have theorised they ought to work. Through your Philosophy minor, you will develop the skills to engage with central philosophical questions, arguments, theories and texts.
