With the Philosophy, Politics & Economics BA (PPE – Economics) at NCH, you study Economics as your major, and will study Philosophy and Politics as joint minors. The central aim of our PPE program is to increase your understanding of, and ability to engage with, central questions, arguments, and texts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, and to provide a lively sense of interrelations between these subjects.

You’ll compare the political institutions of different countries, analysing where they derive their legitimacy and how they interact with other organisations. You’ll take a course in political theory and learn how to draw on complex and often contradictory sources to create a picture of lives once lived, from the Roman Empire to the present.

The Philosophy with Psychology BA (Hons) combines the study of Philosophy and Psychology.
