The Art History with History BA will allow you to interpret moments of history as manifested in works of art. Both your major and your minor include surveys of historical periods and their cultures, which are then supplemented by media specific and period specific courses in Art History and History respectively. You’ll learn about painting, ceramics, architecture, and landscapes, alongside broader reflections on the nature of the historical discipline and its applications.

The study of Politics comprises political theory looking at normative questions, and political science looking at the organisation of government. The Psychology minor explores fundamental principles, concepts, and issues in the major areas of contemporary scientific psychology, which informs your study of Art History by allowing you to dive into the social and cultural behaviours which underlie the development of art over time across the world.

The Law with History LLB (Hons) is a Qualifying Law Degree, covering all of the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority and Bar Standards Board required areas of study to permit progression onto the professional training courses for qualification as a solicitor or barrister.

In your Creative Writing minor, you will hone your craft by writing poetry, scripts, creative non-fiction, and immersive journalism, amongst other forms.

Our Economics with Law BSc (Hons) will provide you with a full understanding of the forces shaping the way we live. Studying Economics, you’ll engage with the structures that make for wealth and well-being, as well as learning the quantitative skills needed to engage with academic economics as commonly practised. In your Law studies, you will learn about the legal forces which constrain how individuals act, and which thus have an impact on the wider societal structures that you will study in Economics. 

Analyse texts in both a creative and a technical manner and learn to compare different texts and other art forms, while engaging with the theoretical and applied nature of studying law, using your skills of language analysis to make precise arguments about the nature of different legal documents.
