The Bioinformatics MSc combines foundational skills in bioinformatics with specialist skills in computing programming, molecular biology and research methods.

Our MSc Bioinformatics is unique and interdisciplinary. It draws together highly-rated teaching and research expertise from across the University. It equips you for a successful career in the bioinformatics industry or academia.

We've designed this MSc Bioinformatics for students from both biological science and computational backgrounds. Prior experience with computer programming is not needed. We welcome applications from those with mathematical, engineering or other scientific backgrounds.

Research is a large component of this course. Our emphasis is on delivering the research training you'll need to meet the demands of industry and academia now and in the future. This four-year Master of Speech and Language Science MSpeech Honours degree focuses on developing your leadership and research skills. This will enable you to consider the role of the speech and language therapist, including as a future leader of the profession.

You will gain a thorough understanding of all areas necessary to undertake speech and language therapy practice, through case-based teaching – where you'll discuss real-life scenarios – and high levels of clinical work.

You will study core modules in speech and language pathology. These include causes, diagnosis, assessment and treatment of a range of speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders in adults and children.

Landscape architects create and manage the landscapes we live and work in. They plan and design places. This ranges from the private garden to the urban square and the city region.

The Master of Landscape Architecture is a two-year full-time postgraduate conversion course. It's suitable for:

• Graduates in other disciplines who wish to qualify and work as professional landscape architects
• Those with international landscape qualifications who wish to pursue professional studies in the UK

Whether or not you have a background in design, you'll develop the skills needed for contemporary practice.
