The Master of Landscape Architecture is a two-year full-time postgraduate conversion course. It's suitable for:

• Graduates in other disciplines who wish to qualify and work as professional landscape architects
• Those with international landscape qualifications who wish to pursue professional studies in the UK

Whether or not you have a background in design, you'll develop the skills needed for contemporary practice.

The Master of Landscape Architecture has candidate accreditation from the Landscape Institute (LI). We are applying for full LI Accreditation status upon graduation of the first cohort.

This degree explores how the ancients thought about and presented their world in literary texts and material culture, and the impact of this on Western civilisation.

You'll develop core skills in reading, translating, analysing and interpreting a diverse range of Greek and Latin texts. You'll also learn how to relate them to their historical and literary context.

Each year, you'll spend one-third of your time studying Latin, and a third studying Greek. Alongside this, you can pursue areas of personal interest to you in the literary field and beyond – including history, philosophy, and material culture.

This research master's includes taught and research-based elements. You'll focus in depth on one aspect of Portuguese studies such as linguistics, culture, history and politics of Latin America, the Spanish novel and Latin American film.

Both our BEng degree and specialist MEng degrees provide a pathway to becoming a Chartered Engineer. This is one of the most recognisable international engineering qualifications.

Our MEng degrees are a direct route to becoming a Chartered Engineer (CEng). You don’t need to study any more qualifications after your degree to work towards chartered status.

Our three-year BEng degree can also lead to Chartered Engineer status. However, you’ll need to complete further study, such as an approved master’s degree.

This translation master's combines practical training and theory to give you the skills and knowledge to become a professional translator in European languages.
