Our MSc in Analytical Sciences MSc is a research-focused degree.

You’ll develop the experience and techniques required to be an independent practitioner of modern analytical science, with the skills required for research and by industry.

It delivers core teaching in advanced aspects of analytical chemistry and enables you to explore areas of specialist knowledge through optional modules.

You’ll apply a wide range of analytical techniques and gain invaluable research experience through an extended research project.

Having developed the fundamentals of the analytical sciences, these core techniques are applied to disciplines including:

The study of heritage is vital for understanding our sense of identity and place. In addition to vocational skills, studying Heritage and Archaeology will give you a broad range of transferable skills including problem solving, team working, and independent research, preparing you for a wide variety of careers, future study and research. The new LLM in International Commercial Law gives you specialist knowledge of the regulation of international commerce, and a thorough understanding of the broader social, economic and political contexts which shape modern commercial law and practice.
