The MA Advanced Practice in Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution is offered by the internationally recognised Department of Peace Studies and International Development, drawing on over 40 years of experience as a leading centre of peace research and education.

The programme will develop your understanding of the causes and dynamics of social conflict, with a strong focus on case-study analysis. This new LLM in Human Rights and Development is designed to provide you with an understanding of human rights in its multi-layered form, with a critical emphasis on its complementarity with development.

You'll gain core knowledge of the wider context framing law and policy in this field, whilst having the flexibility to tailor your degree to suit your particular interests and career aspirations by choosing from a range of specialist human rights law and development modules.

The MA Filmmaking programme will engage you in the production of advanced digital film products.

You will study modules in the production and technology of videography (shooting, editing, post-production), together with specialist modules in film industry practices, music video commissioning and film history and context.

Students on the MA Filmmaking programme also have the opportunity to work with United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) through Bradford UNESCO City of Film to help develop the work of UNESCO including:

• Greater understanding of the work of UNESCO across the world and how filmmakers might respond to this
• Greater understanding of the UNESCO Cities of Film and filmmaking in other countries around the world
