Our 3-year BSc (Hons) in Economics will give you the skills you need for a career in the financial sector, or to pursue a managerial career.

Our materials chemists are leading on the development of exciting projects in functional polymers for the detection of bacteria, the use of nanomaterials in drug delivery and the use of novel molecular organic frameworks for hydrogen storage.

The materials chemistry curriculum has been designed around a solid understanding of the fundamental science, and an appreciation of the exciting applications possible with these new materials.

During the first two years, you will develop a sound understanding of theoretical and practical aspects of chemistry, with core content delivered across the traditional areas of organic, inorganic and physical chemistry. 

This Forensic Science degree focuses on the processing and analysis of physical evidence from crime scenes.

The course emphasises the application of science - in particular analytical chemistry - and stresses the importance of quality assurance procedures in a forensic setting.

A characteristic of the University of Bradford's approach is the integration of practical skills training within a good theoretical framework – whether in terms of crime scene investigation, the collection, examination and interpretation of physical evidence, laboratory processing and analysis.

Mechanical Engineering is the most versatile of the engineering disciplines and there exists a high and growing demand from industry for graduate Mechanical Engineers.

The new LLM in International Commercial Law gives you specialist knowledge of the regulation of international commerce, and a thorough understanding of the broader social, economic and political contexts which shape modern commercial law and practice.

The course offers a wide range of modules that are contemporary, academically rigorous and skills oriented. All students are required to join the CIPD as a student member within one month of commencing the course, and for successful graduates the CIPD joining fee and first-year membership fee are paid by the University as an additional benefit for our students.

As a member of the CIPD you will have the ability to attend local events, opportunities to network with senior professionals and executives, access various training and development activities.

The three-year full-time degree in Nursing leads to a professional nursing qualification and eligibility to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

This is a practical, patient-centred course with equal amounts of theory and clinical practice which allows you to experience a range of healthcare services.

Studying in Bradford gives you experience of the mental health needs of a very diverse population. Your placements will cover a multi-ethnic city with pockets of affluence but also high levels of deprivation.
