The course includes many opportunities for practical experience and networking, including our international study tours (dependent upon any travel restrictions) where you’ll gain direct experience of global business through meetings with executives, company visits, and sessions with experts. You’ll also visit companies in Nottingham and London as part of our Business Practice Week to learn first-hand about different types of businesses, their current challenges, and how these relate to the theory you’re studying.

Our core modules cover all the essential elements required by professional marketers. As our course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) it is mapped against their assessments of the industry’s needs. You can complete the CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing alongside your MSc studies at no extra cost, which means that you'll graduate with two internationally recognised professional qualifications.

This is a conversion course which is not designed for students with an extensive background in marketing. If your undergraduate degree contains modules with a marketing focus, please be aware that it is highly likely there will be overlap with your prior study. This should be considered carefully before applying.

Designed specifically for students from a non-clinical background, Applied Sport and Exercise Medicine allows you to specialise in the theory of managing sports injuries and illnesses, exploring the relationship between exercise and health, and get real life experience in the field.

As part of the course you'll receive special training courses to allow you to do CPR and first aid as well as taping and sports massage. 

We want you to be able to go where you want to in your career, whether that be working in a sports team or doing research. We'll help you get there with placements at real sporting events throughout your time with us and teaching from leading clinicians, research scientists, and sports and exercise medicine experts.
