The fourth year includes masters-level modules. You have full choice on what you'll study. You could focus on a programming project, look at advanced algorithms or be a STEM ambassador in schools.

Our core modules will give you a grounding in all the key principles in management science, including corporate financial strategy, managing people and managerial economics. You can also choose from a range of optional modules that enable you to specialise in particular areas that align with your career goals. Topics include venture capital, behavioural economics and human resource management.

This course is available to students with or without a first degree in computer science.  

Computer Science is playing a key role in many industries all around the world. Developments in artificial intelligence, apps and cyber security are changing how we live, work and socialise. This course will give you the skills and knowledge to prepare you for a range of high-level careers.

Core modules will develop your knowledge in key topics such as programming, databases, and networks. Optional modules give you the flexibility to broaden your knowledge in specialist areas, including machine learning, autonomous robotics, and human-AI interaction. 

You will undertake an individual research project in an area of your choice. This could be in collaboration with an industry partner to build your experience and connections. You can also work with one of our world-leading research groups. Previous projects have included:

If you choose to focus your study and research in the field of AI, you can graduate with a degree titled ‘MSc Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence)’.

We develop students to become confident sport rehabilitators, equipped with the knowledge, skills and flexibility to work independently across a range of sporting, health, rehabilitation and exercise environments.

Accredited by the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT), our BSc Sport Rehabilitation develops your practical skills to work with patients and athletes of all ages to rehabilitate them following injury.

We are committed to developing sport rehabilitators within a supportive, nurturing environment. You will work across key areas of injury prevention, health, wellbeing and sporting performances, designing and implementing exercise and rehabilitation programmes for your clients.

On BSc International Management, you’ll learn about key principles including innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability that underpin business and management across the globe. You’ll study real organisations to gain a deep knowledge of management processes. You’ll examine a company, take an in-depth look at its structure, markets, competitors and external economic environment.
