This programme reflects the Law School's own international standing, and the diversity of jurisdictions in which you can pursue your legal career as a graduate of English law.

This 4-year programme covers the qualifying law degree subjects in years 1 and 2. You'll spend your third year studying at one of our carefully selected partner institutions overseas. Most destinations offer modules taught in English. For others you can spend 2 years studying the language before you go. We currently have partners in:

As part of this degree you’ll complete a chemical engineering advanced research project. You’ll be able to draw on our expertise in low-carbon technology, fine chemicals, green energy and water/wastewater engineering to complete your research.

You’ll work in our brand new, bespoke chemical engineering laboratories, which are part of our £12m chemistry building renovation. You’ll also have access to our engineering facilities, which consist of over 10,000m² of specialist workshops, laboratories and testing services.

This is a new course. The course is currently undergoing the accreditation process for the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE). Once accreditation is granted the course will qualify as meeting the educational requirements for chartered engineer status.

• Actuarial Mathematics (CM1 and CM2)
• Business Finance and Economics (CB1 and CB2)

This is the maximum number of IFoA actuarial exemptions available on any undergraduate programme.

Our MChem Chemistry degree with research project abroad or industry experience is the first of its kind in the UK. It allows you to combine your degree with 6 months of industrial experience, or a research placement abroad at an overseas university.
