This MPhys Physics with Mathematics course provides a unique opportunity to study physics with a 6-month, paid industry placement in your fourth year. Spend your third year in Germany, studying maths at one of our partner universities. This degree is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in German, while developing your mathematical problem-solving skills. You’ll study pure and applied mathematics, statistics and operational research. You’ll graduate with sought after skills in mathematics as well as experience of working and studying in another language.

This BSc Maths with German degree is varied and covers the foundations of algebra, calculus and statistics. You’ll investigate the applications of mathematics in a variety of contexts and use mathematical and statistical models.

Aeronautics and Astronautics looks at the science, engineering and manufacture of aircraft and spacecraft. You'll learn how they operate within our atmosphere and in space. On this aerodynamics course, you'll focus on vehicles, wings and propulsion systems.

This is the only degree in the UK to combine economics and actuarial science. Actuarial science uses mathematical and statistical methods to assess risk and uncertainty. Actuaries are essential in industries such as insurance and finance. This BSc Economics and Actuarial Science degree is accredited by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA). You'll be eligible for 6 exemptions from the core principles:
