What can I do with a biomedical science degree?

• Our graduates work in increasingly diverse types of roles. Most go into biomedical science, working in research and development for organizations in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
• Some also get jobs in sales, the media or education, and others study for postgraduate qualifications.
• Through our partnership with American University of Antigua (AUA), you could go on to study medicine there. You'd spend two pre-clinical years in Antigua, followed by two clinical years in the UK, USA or Canada. Scholarships are available for outstanding students.

This course develops thinking skills and will give you a general introduction to marketing with a focus on marketing communications. It is suitable for students wishing to work in a marketing communications agency or as a communications specialist, whatever your background or UG degree subject area.

Gain an in-depth understanding of conducting social research, and use your skills to carry out your own research study on this specially designed MRes Social Research course. Explore the complexities of the building envelope and push the boundaries of design with this unique award, the only UK course to specialise in façade engineering. This industry-led masters works closely with the Centre for Window and Cladding Technology (CWCT) to bridge the skills gap in the UK.

Façade engineering is a discipline in its own right. Most large-scale commercial, industrial, educational and even residential buildings are now constructed using a frame and an envelope and many engineering firms have their own façade engineering departments. Our graduates are highly sought-after.

This is a unique course, working closely with CWCT and designed specifically for the industry - overcoming a severe skills shortage and making it easier for companies to find the staff they need.
