The Radiologic Sciences Programs are administered by the Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences in the College of Nursing and Health Professions. The program is designed to produce Radiologic Science professionals who are clinically competent, advanced level radiologic sciences practitioners. The program is a "1 plus 1" model, meaning all students begin their sophomore year in radiography, then choose one of six "tracks" for their senior year.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Provides students with the skills necessary to operate MRI and CT machines and control sectional images through computer enhancement.

Healthcare Management - Concentration
The MBA with a Concentration in Healthcare Management is designed to allow students to complement their studies in business administration with in-depth coverage of the core components of the healthcare administration arena and the unique issues and challenges facing healthcare organizations in the dynamic healthcare industry. Students will complete the 24 hours of the MBA core and 15 hours of graduate level courses in Healthcare Administration.

Our traditional mode of the MPA program provides you with two tracks to choose from Public Management and Non-Profit Management. Our program doesn’t require the GRE, is NASPAA accredited, and one of the most affordable master’s programs in the country. With students from all over the world and nationally recognized professors, our MPA program will provide you with a close-knit family, bringing perspectives, passion, and knowledge from all around the world.

Additionally, if you are a current A-State undergraduate student and want to pursue an MPA after you graduate, you can do so by starting off during your senior year through our new 4+1 program. The focus of the B.S. Mathematics degree program at Arkansas State University is to provide students with the opportunity and the direction to pursue the intellectual challenges of mathematics; and to provide the mathematical knowledge necessary to function competently in graduate school and/or in a career requiring mathematical skills.  Students graduating with the B.S. Mathematics degree will have a strong foundation in the fundamental notions of mathematics, including rigorous proof, and will possess valuable skills in problem solving, critical thinking, and the effective communication of mathematical concepts and models.  Coursework includes exposure to physics, programming, and electives that allow students to explore various topics in applied and pure mathematics and statistics.  The flexibility within the B.S. Mathematics degree allows for optimal preparation for graduate study in mathematics or statistics and prepares B.S. Mathematics students for pursuing careers as an actuary, mathematician, operations research analyst, or statistician; and for other jobs in business, industry, or government that have math as an essential job skill.

The field of clinical laboratory science offers opportunities for students who are interested in the biological and chemical sciences. Clinical laboratory scientists are academically prepared, skilled laboratory workers who perform a variety of analyses which aid the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

The BS-Clinical Laboratory Scientist degree is a 4-year program which provides an understanding of the theoretical and scientific fundamentals underlying the procedures involved, which include a broad based knowledge in the principles of human biology, chemistry, analytical instrumentation, and a familiarity with the educational and managerial aspects associated with one who occupies a professional role in a wide variety of settings.

Marketing - Concentration
The MBA with a Concentration in Marketing program is designed to allow students to complement their studies in business administration with in-depth coverage of the core components of marketing theory as applied in today’s marketing environment. Students will complete the 27 hours within the MBA core (which includes one graduate level marketing course) and 9 additional hours of graduate level marketing coursework.

The major in Global Supply Chain Management provides education and training for those interested in planning and implementing successful supply chain strategies both domestically and internationally. Students who graduate from this program will find multiple rewarding career opportunities open to them in the areas of logistics, e-commerce, purchasing, manufacturing, and international business.

Global supply chain management encompasses the planning and management of all activities involved in the flows of products, services, finances, and information from a source to a customer and integrates supply and demand across all types of organizations on an international scale.
