This program is designed specifically for students who want to engage in serious theological discussion, and who are not also pursuing an Education or Director of Church Ministries degree.

In this program, you’ll have the opportunity to study the structure of Christian belief and practice. You’ll dive into God’s Word as well as respected Lutheran doctrinal texts to properly frame your thoughts and perspectives before exploring the cultural, political, and theological implications of God’s Word on your daily life. In short, this program is for anyone with an earnest desire to better understand and grapple with God’s message of salvation so that you can communicate it with confidence and zeal for the benefit of the Kingdom.

Computer scientists are instrumental to anything and everything that involves computers. And let’s be honest, pretty much everything today involves computers. Robotics, virtual reality, and videogames are often cited as future job areas, but you could also be a part of many other fields—animation, music, automobiles, analytics…the list goes on.

What comes to mind when you think of computer science? In our modern world, there are decreasingly fewer things that don't rely on computers and technology in some shape or form, making computer science one of the most practical and versatile fields of study out there. At Concordia, we define computer science as solving problems using technology. If you can learn to create and manage technology solutions, you can apply your skills to just about any career path.

With five different concentrations available and substantial flexibility in electives, you have the power to customize this degree and make it your own. In this program, you'll receive a well-rounded education through the Concordia Core, as well as a firm foundation of computer science knowledge through our Technology Core. You'll learn the ins and outs of hardware, software, operating systems, databases, coding, and user interfaces. From there, you can branch out into one or more concentrations of computer science, specializing in the areas that are of most interest to you. You can use your electives to earn multiple concentrations, or to explore coursework in any other field at Concordia, broadening your knowledge base.

The CUW business management program builds a strong foundation and offers broad liberal arts and business training you’ll need to not just manage, but to lead in today’s ever shifting business environment.

While in the program, you’ll master current software for designing and managing business projects, while adopting proven project management tools and techniques at each stage in a project’s lifecycle. You’ll gain an understanding of how to integrate organizational strategies that involve the parent, supplier, and sub-supplier organizations working together in domestic and global environments. You will have the opportunity to develop a comprehensive business plan. With successful completion of the program, students will be equipped to demonstrate their skills to manage and coordinate resources to achieve organizational goals.

With a Bachelor’s in Management from CUW, you’ll be well prepared for a huge variety of career paths, including Business analyst, sales, project management, operations and owning your own business. You’ll emerge from the program ready to take on anything from designing business projects to how to manage projects domestically and internationally. So if you have a natural curiosity and appreciation for what makes up God’s creation, you might find yourself most in your element pursuing a degree in this field.
The aim of Concordia’s program is to prepare you for a career in the chemical industry or to pursue graduate studies to earn a PhD, an MD, or a PharmD. Expect to be challenged on a regular basis. Our professors have designed a rigorous curriculum to help you advance as a scientist and develop analytic reasoning. CUW’s Chemistry program is approved by the American Chemical Society, an important distinction for any Chemistry program.

A significant portion of your studies will take place in our recently constructed laboratories, with state-of-the-art technology and equipment. Whenever possible, our faculty take a hands-on approach to learning, so you can expect to quickly become comfortable in a lab setting. You’ll gain a thorough foundation in the various areas within chemistry, including organic, inorganic, analytical, physical, and biochemistry. And CUW students aren’t limited to the required courses for developing their skills. If you have a particular area of interest, you have the opportunity to work one-on-one with a faculty member in conducting an undergraduate research project.

One of the most exciting parts of innovation is the opportunity to drive positive change in new and exciting ways. Our MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship will help you to do just that. You’ll learn from faculty with real-world experience and work alongside a diverse student body that will open up new points of view. You’ll also have the chance to receive free business coaching and pitch your own ideas through our CU Launch initiative. Throughout the program, our professors will engage you in topics like venture capital, intellectual property rights, and long-term planning strategy. And because we want to make this program convenient for you, our courses are offered at our main campus, our off-site locations and online. Wherever you are, this program will help you start pursuing the ideas you’re passionate about.

As a graduate of Concordia’s MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, you’ll have a new way of thinking - an entrepreneurial mindset that will help you think outside of the box and approach problem-solving in a creative way. You’ll have the business know-how needed to pitch your ideas, create successful startups, and pursue sustainability. You’ll also leave the program with a certificate in strategic innovation, which will equip you to implement and manage a culture of innovation within your organization. The MPD Chemical program will provide the additional education and hands-on training that science majors need to secure jobs in the pharmaceutical or chemical product development industries; accordingly classes are taught in an applied manner.

• Centered around drug discovery work, this one- of-a-kind program fills an unmet industry need for highly skilled employees
• You’ll focus on traditional chemistry and instrumentation principles as a way of creating and validating potential new active pharmaceutical ingredients, streamlining complex synthesis, analyzing the shelf-life of API’s, or designing cost-effective synthetic routes
• Individual product development projects partner you with an industry expert to build on existing ideas or cultivate your own original designs
• Curriculum blends technical skills with business strategy, market analysis, regulatory/compliance (FDA, ISO), and legal considerations (patent, licensing)

You’ll apprentice with industry partners and learn in state-of-the-art analytical and pilot-scale labs (like the new hybrid classroom/cGMP lab on the Innovation Campus). In addition, you’ll be able to take advantage of networking and collaboration opportunities provided by the Interprofessional Education (IPE) program.

You have two paths to choose from when pursuing a degree in English at CUW. This program can be a standalone liberal arts degree, or a complementary major for those of you seeking a degree in secondary education. Both routes will allow you to explore the language, literature, and expression of the Western canon. In order to demonstrate your understanding of texts and ideas, you’ll be regularly asked to write analytically and creatively. Professors will motivate you to think critically about texts and consider them within a Christian context, applying their lessons to your day to day life.

Courses center around comprehending, expressing, and analyzing ideas (both others’ and your own), so the content is going to get deep. Get ready to read a wide range of authors, and be prepared to speak up and engage in high-level academic discourse with faculty and fellow students. You will continually be learning to better express yourself by studying how others have communicated their thoughts.

Throughout history, mathematics has played an essential role in leading humanity to new discoveries and technological advances. In fact, some of the most important achievements of our time would not have been possible without the field of mathematics. Whether you’re looking to help progress technology or you want to use your gifts to help consult businesses, our bachelor’s degree in mathematics will teach you the skills you need to have an impact.

One of the reasons that mathematics is so appealing is because it’s true. You can solve the same equation for X over and over again and the answer remains consistent. In our mathematics program, you’ll find satisfaction in discovering the right answer and enjoy the challenge of a complicated problem. Throughout the program, you’ll learn how to use computers and computer systems for problem solving, explore the relationship between a Christian worldview and a technological science, and complete a research project on a mathematical topic of interest. As a graduate of the mathematics program, you’ll have a deep comprehension of (and appreciation for) areas like calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, geometry, abstract algebra and real analysis. You’ll be able to solve and understand differential equations, sequences and series, vector-valued functions, partial derivatives, functions and algorithms. And you won’t be graduating with only math skills.
